Parking

If you are planning to bring a car to the ANZPA Conference please let us know if you need pre-booked parking by Monday 14 January. Pre-booking offers the cheapest and most convenient option if you want 24 hour parking or long term parking for the whole event. Email your booking to conference@anzpa.org – you can pay us when you arrive.

• Pre-Booked Parking: This is available at Queen’s College, a few minutes walk from Newman College for the period 21st January to 29 Jan.
• Secured parking is available for $84 for a minimum of 7 days and $12 per day after that. This area is entered from Swanston St and is accessible by a swipe fob. (30 spaces).
• Unsecured parking at $10 per day (at a daily rate only) is also available (20 spaces).

Please note that Queen’s College accepts no responsibility or liability for any damage caused to or theft from your vehicle.

Other Parking Options

There are several other parking options around the university:

• $14 per day, $2 an hour at Premier Parking Station: access via Jimmy Watson’s lane near corner of Elgin and Lygon Sts. – $2 per hour. Maximum daily rate $14. Open 7days 8am till 12 midnight Mon to Fri, till 2am am Sat/Sun Melways Map 2B – F6
• $12 per day (coin /notes machine): Melbourne University parking – enter university at Tin Alley, park in Tin Alley or opposite the swimming pool. Coin machine in Tin Alley [coins/notes] – Mon to Fri 7am to 4pm $7/ 4pm to 7am $5
• $5.20 for four hours (coin machines): Swanston St.outside Newman College and further north on College Crescent, 4 hour parking / $1.30 per hour / Mon to Fri 7.30 am to 6.30 pm / to 12.30pm Sat
