Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

Student style accommodation is available at Newman College adjacent to the University of Melbourne, at 887 Swanston Street, Parkville. Accommodation is in single rooms arranged around a large heritage courtyard. Bed linen and towels are provided. Bathroom facilities are shared between 6-8 rooms. Tariff of $42 per night includes bed and breakfast in the College’s unique dinning hall designed by distinctive architect Walter Burley Griffin. NEWS FLASH Please note Newman Accommodation is available from 20-29 January, not 30 January as was shown on our original registration form.

Alternative Accommodation

For those who wish to arrange accommodation outside of the Conference venue, please Google ‘Carlton and Parkville, Victoria, Australia, Hotels and Apartments’ to arrange your accommodation. Be aware that as the conference is running at the same time as the Australian Tennis Open hotel accommodation will need to be secured early and tariffs will be higher than usual.

Meals

Breakfast is provided for those staying at Newman College. The conference fee includes lunches and dinners. A range of dietary needs is catered for, including dairy-free, gluten-free, low-fat, vegetarian, meat and vegan. If you have additional special dietary requirements please email Jane Maher.
